The Advanced Open Water Level is a recognition level by SSI that can be achieved after completing 4 specialty programs and 24 verified dives. By completing this certification level, you will enhance your diving skills and become part of the advanced divers’ community.

You can expect an exclusive diving course package that allows you to choose 4 specialties, which will then be combined into seven dives. When selecting the combination, it is recommended to focus on specific topics. A popular combination includes deep diving with specialties like nitrox, buoyancy control, and decompression diving. Another recommended combination consists of buoyancy, nitrox, deep diving, and navigation, aiming to reduce your reliance on a dive guide. Additionally, you should not miss out on the excellent opportunities for combinations focusing on wreck diving, such as the Liberty Wreck and the Boga Wreck.

Thanks to the flexibility in choosing specialties, you will receive a personalized course program tailored to your individual needs and interests. After successfully completing the specialty programs and verifying 24 dives, you will achieve Advanced Open Water Diver status as the third level of experience and automatically receive digital certification through the SS app.
