Certification SSI Solo Diving

Independent Diving

Embarking on a solo dive presents a unique opportunity to pursue your favorite activities and bask in moments of uninterrupted tranquility while embracing your personal rhythm and immersing yourself fully in the captivating marvels of the ocean. To effectively plan and conduct independent dives, our SSI Independent Diving Specialty course equips you with the necessary knowledge and skills. This includes practicing essential exercises from previous courses in the pool and familiarizing yourself with additional equipment such as a stage cylinder with an independent air supply.

By putting these newly acquired skills into practice during three dives in the open sea, you will further enhance your readiness for future solo dives. We also review key topics from previous courses in the theory section to ensure you have a comprehensive understanding of dive planning and are capable of independently planning safe dives. Ultimately, our training builds confidence, enhances safety measures, and promotes comfort on all future dives, showcasing that independent diving is just as secure as diving with a buddy.
