Here, the famous Java coffee is cultivated, harvested and processed. The houses of the plantation workers with small gardens at the entrance are reminiscent of the Dutch influence in the last century. There are hot springs for a relaxing bath and a large waterfall.
The ascent of the volcano is the second highlight of this tour.At night or early in the morning, an ascent is possible. The night climb offers a rare spectacle of nature through the eternal blue flames of the sulfur mines. There are many people on the way to the summit at night. So we prefer the climb in the early hours as the specific feeling of the volcano area is better then. The ascent takes one hour. If you like, you can descend into the crater to the crater lake and the mines.
After this natural spectacle we visit a very well-known beach in East Java. The “Red Sand Beach” is very popular among the Javanese. It is a large, wide beach for sunbathing and swimming. Here we will stay for one night before returning to Bali.

An ascent to one of the craters in this area is possible. There is also a viewing deck where the sunrise can be admired. This popular natural spectacle attracts many people, and it can be crowded.
Mount Bromo
Another highlight is the secluded turtle beach at Sukamade. It is only accessible by off-road jeeps or motorcycles. Therefore, the journey through the jungle is already a thrilling experience. On the beach a ranger station monitors the shore. The very simple local accommodations, unfortunately, could use some renovation.
